1893 Car 2 returned to service during TT week following a partial repaint into the blue & cream colours of the Isle of Man Tramways and Electric Power Co, similar to the restored Douglas Cable Car. However, the car still retains maroon lining out on the rocker panels and to be historically correct the waist panels should be blue and not teak. No.2 is seen here at Derby Castle prior to undetaking it's first journey to Laxey in the blue livery. 2 was kept busy during TT week, making 3 journeys to Ramsey in 2 days, once covering for a failed Car 21 on the timetabled service, whilst 2 round trips were made on specials on Ramsey Sprint day.
